Sport Massage
Sport massage addresses the specific needs of athletes and uses several different modalities. Massage is useful both before and after competition to increase flexibility, decrease anxiety and recover from strains, injuries and muscle overuse. A 2015 study from the Journal of Athletic Enhancement, found that the use of far infrared heat improves muscle recovery after intense training, compared to passive recovery methods.
